What we did this summer

Members of Minnesota Goalball participated in various activities over the summer.  Sam went to the National Championships as an alternate for the Colorado Bandits.  The team won the gold medal in a thrilling overtime game. Coach Mackie attended the USABA Youth Sports festival in Colorado Springs. He attended coaching classes taught by U.S. Paralympic Coach Ken Armbruster and coached a boys team to a bronze medal in competition. Anessa probably had the most exciting summer.  She went to Athens Greece to participate in the Paralympic games as a swimmer.  Once we have pictures we will add these to the site. All in all a very good summer!
